Workers with this qualification have tradesperson-level skills in the manufacture and/or installation of products, including furniture and cabinetry, made from timber and other materials.

104 Weeks

 Delivery methods include face-to-face classroom-based training and webinars. Students are also expected to conduct self-paced learning activities. Assessment methods include written work, projects, case studies, observations, and logbook/third-party reports.

PATHWAY

After achieving the MSF30322 Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology candidates may choose to undertake Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) and higher studies.

LLN

Sufficient LLN (Language, Literacy, and Numeracy) skills and are at least 18 years old. Applicants may be requested to take an LLN test.


Applicants with no formal qualifications and who are commencing within or have experience within a relevant industry may also be considered for entry into the course.

CHC33021 Cert III in Individual Support

Industry

Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work.


This qualification is suitable for an Australian apprenticeship pathway.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no formal requirements for this qualification. However, participants must be 18 years' old or over.


  • IELTS overall band of 6 or equivalent internationally recognised exam result in line with DIBP regulations



Applicants must be physically capable of doing general lifting and be prepared to be on their feet for long stretches of time

.
