McGrath Institute of Business Australia's curriculum has been developed by
a team of highly experienced academics from universities throughout
Australia. Each subject has been specifically designed to produce an
interactive learning experience. Textbooks and recommended readings
supplement the online material and provide a rich source of
information. All courses are fully accredited by Australia's
Queensland Minister for Education, Training and the Arts.
Choose from our recognised online Diploma, Associate Degree, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master degrees below.
Each MIBA
degree provides students with a structured, progressive, modular
approach to study. Alternative entry and exit points to the
overall degree and flexible time frames allow students to tailor
their course to suit their goals. The nested
qualifications give you the flexibility to take a break from
studies, with a recognised award, and come back to complete the
degree at your convenience.
MIBA
students undertake three study periods (trimesters) each year, allowing
you to complete your studies in the shortest amount if time possible.
To undertake McGrath Institute of Business Australia’s courses in the online mode on an ongoing basis, students will need to have reliable internet access and a computer that will allow use of the MIBA learning management system. This means a student’s computer must be able to run:
- Recent versions of a web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera or Safari.)
- a word processor (such as that provided by Microsoft Office or Open Office),
- spreadsheet (such as that provided by Microsoft Office or Open Office),
- presentation software (such as that provided by Microsoft Office or Open Office)
If a student’s computer can run recent versions of the above mentioned software, or they have reliable access to one that does, they should have the technical necessities to participate in MIBA courses in online mode. However, if the internet access or computer does not meet these requirements, or if we have concerns about telecommunications reliability in the student’s local area, the student will need to study through one of our learning support centres. Students will also need to study through one of our learning support centres if we think they are not making satisfactory progress in their studies because of inadequate IT infrastructure.
